Dill Gourmet Café is a Café operated by the Indonesian premium caterer, Culture Royale. Culture Royale is well known to cater upscale customers for their upscale events. Dill Café is located in Plaza Indonesia LG floor, next to the escalator near Fat Burger. The café was not that spacious, but pretty comfortable and perfect go-to spot to grab a cup of coffee and snacks. Dill is decorated with modern casual design, offering warm ambience to customers.
Dill served food from their catering office that’s being freshly served per our order. So don’t expect them to have a kitchen, all of their food needs to be reheat in the oven or microwave. However, don’t mix up Dill with other 24/7 convenience store that also serve reheated food, their food are by far nothing alike. You have to taste it to know it.
I’ve ordered Grilled Chicken Ranch sandwich (37k) for my lunch. The chicken was nicely cooked and seasoned, although I would prefer chicken breast instead of chicken thigh cutlet. The Ranch sauce doesn’t taste like Ranch though, it’s more like chutney to me, but it was nice so no complain here. As for the drink I’ve ordered Red Sunset Tea (a combination of apple, cranberries, and tea).
I’ve also tried one of their pies, Apple Crumble Pie (16k). The apple filling was a bit too sweet for my liking, but the crust is great, crispy and tasty.
Dill is a nice place to sit back and relax, take a time off from office hectic and insane traffic jam in the heart of Jakarta. As for the food, it was nice but not that special.
